UNYT and CFA Society Greece joined forces to host an enriching open lecture!

Recently, UNYT and CFA Society Greece joined forces to host an enriching open lecture on January 22, 2024, exclusively for our Business and Economics Faculty students. The aim was to delve into the essential requirements and privileges of obtaining CFA membership.

Mrs. Eleni Philos, Managing Director at CFA Society Greece, and Mr. Dimitris Gkiokas, Board member at CFA Society Greece and Finance Manager at Athenian Sea Carriers, expertly guided our students through the intricate steps of the CFA exams. They illuminated the major prerequisites, outlined study plans, discussed university exemptions, and highlighted global scholarship opportunities through the CFA Society.

Dr. Arben Zibri, a shining example of CFA “power” in Albania, shared his remarkable journey, emphasizing worldwide support’s profound impact on professional development. Currently serving as a data science product manager at Cardo AI, Dr. Zibri is a UNYT alumna and a distinguished professor in our finance courses.

This initial event will be followed by many others in an attempt for UNYT to gain its place in the international educational arena. We take pride in our alumni, CFA charter members and commit to motivating many more of our students to join this path.
