“Dialogue and Cooperation in the Black Sea and Balkan Regions” | 6th Meeting of Balkan Universities Association (BUA)

?The 6th meeting Balkan Universities Association (BUA) was held on 12-15 October 2022 in the form of a joint congress with the Black Sea Universities Network (BSUN) under the title “Dialogue and Cooperation in the Black Sea and Balkan Regions” hosted by the University of Bucharest. The meeting got together 7 Balkan countries with 17 BUA members, including University of New York Tirana and a total of 30 Universities and 116 participants.
UNYT Rector, Prof. Dr. Erkan Erdemir, participated in “The Role of Universities in the Future of the Balkans” session. Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan Erdemir pointed out the need for institutions to collaborate to develop universities, increase their project-making capabilities and ensure sustainable development, and stated that universities also play a significant role in cultural interaction. ?
