“Tahir Dizdari” | A book Publication of YTB

Following the activities of the Cultural Week of Türkiye, in the Iliria hall of the Mak Albania Hotel, with the support of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and its President, Mr. Abdullah Eren; two books on the life and work of the researcher of Turkish loanwords in the Albanian language, Tahir Dizdari, were presented. The authors of this publication are the Turkologist from the University of Pristina, Prof. Dr. Irfan Morina, and Assoc. Prof. Lindita Xhanari Latifi, Albanologist and Director of the UNYT Balkan Research Institute. The volumes have been written in both Albanian and Turkish with the intention that the information prepared on the life and work of Tahir Dizdar, the most well-known researcher in the Balkans in this area, will be helpful to scholars from other Balkan nations as well as Türkiye. Present at the event was also the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Albania, H.E. Tayyar Kağan Atay.
