Universal Message of Yunus Emre

On the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the death of Yunus Emre, the great poet who laid the foundation stones of Turkish civilization and language, the year 2021 designated by UNESCO as a year of his remembrance, has been announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Yunus Emre and the Turkish language. With his work Yunus Emre became the spokesman of love, tolerance, brotherhood, friendship, unity, and peace, thus presenting his philosophy built on common human values.

On this occasion, the Yunus Emre Institute in Tirana in cooperation with the “Balkan Research Center” of the University of New York Tirana is organizing the “Universal Message of Yunus Emre” panel.

Part of the panel will be Prof. Lindita Xhanari Latifi (Albania), Zeynel Beksaç (Kosovo), Behixhudin Shehapi (Northern Macedonia).
