Xh. Sinjari, expert in Internal Audit delivered an Open Lecture in “Fraud Management”

📢We are very pleased to welcome Mrs. Xhensila Sinjari, an expert in Internal Audit, our UNYT alumna for the open lecture in “Fraud Management”.
📍UNYT Students of Auditing class attended the open lecture delivered by Mrs. Xhensila Sinjari on principal types of fraud, common myths related to fraud, consequences of fraud, common pitfalls & fraud identification mechanisms, and fraud governance.
📍Mrs. Sinjari graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economy in 2010 majoring in Finance (BSc), and obtained her MSc in Finance and Accounting at the University of New York Tirana in 2012.
📍Her career in the Albanian banking system started in 2011 with Banka Kombetare Tregtare as an internal auditor. She has 8 years of experience in the Internal Audit Department at BKT, where she led the internal audit teams of bank branch audits, head office department audits, spot audits, fraud examinations, and investigations.
📍Since 2019, she is leading the Process and Product Development Department in BKT. Her areas of expertise are internal auditing, fraud examination, finance, accounting, banking products, and processes.
📍Since 2018, Mrs. Sinjari is an ACCA Candidate and an active participant in the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), The Albanian Association of Banks (AAB), and international fraud examiners’ training.
