Announcement on the start of the new Academic Year 2020-2021

Due to rising Coronavirus cases, The University of New York Tirana has agreed on the following:

Online Teaching mode

The University will go into online teaching mode until further notice.

All courses will be taught online unless on-campus teaching is indispensable. If that is the case for one class, then the affected students will be informed by their lecturer.

UNYT Campus & University Departments

Entry to campus: All students are asked to stay home and only to come to campus if absolutely necessary! Students are asked to keep their visit short, to follow the UNYT safety guidelines, and to wear a mask during their entire stay!

Library

The library will stay open and students will be able to borrow books from Monday to Friday between 09.00 and 17.00.
If possible students should inform our librarians in advance which books they need and when they want to pick them up so that everything can be prepared before arrival.

Students Affair Office

All services will be conducted online. Students are asked to reach out to the SAO office during opening hours and/or book an online session. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
Students are asked to reach out to the University during opening hours.

Records Office

Transcripts can also be requested to be sent via email to REGISTRAR OFFICE
The needed physical documents will be handed out by the University’s Front Desk.
