This Tuesday, 9th of November 2021, we had the pleasure to have the expert of Competitiveness at the Regional Cooperation Council Mrs. Evisi Kopliku as a guest lecturer in the course EU Law into Albanian Legal System a module offered with the support of the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union in the frame of the Jean Monet Centres of Excellence project – European Union Enlargement for the Western Balkans. Mrs. Kopliku delivered her lecture on the Common Regional Market Action Plan 2021 \u2013 2024 as a demonstration of the regional effort of the six WB for deeper economic integration, following its adoption at the Western Balkans Summit in Sofia in November 2020.<\/p>\n
Biography of Mrs. Evis Kopliku<\/strong><\/p>\n Evisi Kopliku has completed the bachelor and Master studies of Banking and Finance in Eastern Mediterranean University (Northern Cyprus) and Master of European Economics (Specialization: European Economic Integration and Business) in the College of Europe (Bruges, Belgium).<\/p>\n She is currently an expert on competitiveness at Reginal Cooperation Council (RCC) focusing mainly in the areas of industrial development (incuding green and circular economy in the WB6<\/em>), investments, financial markets and women economic empowerment. She started her career as a teaching and research assistant at the Department of Banking and Finance in EMU; continued as a lecturer at the University of New York Tirana and later at \u201cMarin Barleti\u201d University; and worked as an assosiated lecturer in the Faculty of Economics\/University of Tirana and at the Canadian Insitute of Technology. Ms. Kopliku worked as the advisor to the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship, focusing mainly on FDIs, entrepreneurship support, economic and international cooperation and european integration.<\/p>\n Amond different trainings attended in Austria, Japan, etc., Evisi has completed the one-year training at the Center for International Development of Harvard University, with a focus on the development of FDI policies and development of economic zones in Albania.
