During the week of June 7-14, 2021, our UNYT professors Dr. Andromahi Kufo, Prof. Assoc. Ines Nurja, M.Sc. Arta Sinamati and M.Sc. Athina Tori participated in the \u201cNon-Teaching Staff Week\u201d Erasmus + KA107 project, hosted by College of Applied Sciences \u201cLavoslav Ru\u017ei\u010dka\u201d in Vukovar, Croatia (VEVU). This activity gathered higher education institutions\u2019 representatives from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, and Georgia, in the fields of health, economics, and law to share their theoretical knowledge and practices with their colleagues and academic community about preparatory of mobilities, project management, mutual goals, and quality projects impacts.<\/p>\n
During these days, participants attended a lecture on PM2 Methodology delivered by Prof. dr. sc. Mladen Radujkovi\u0107, had group discussions on the challenges of ECTS recognition in ICM, safety measures and risks, quality improvement \u2013 new ECHE \u2013 inclusion, promotion of civic engagement, active citizenship, and environmentally; presented their institutions. Our university was presented by the Deputy Director of European and Balkan Research Institute, Dr. Andromahi Kufo. Professor Kufo presented the University of New York Tirana, our study programs, events, and activities, as well as the Institute and our conference achievements, as well as the International Journal of Balkan studies.<\/p>\n
The group also had the opportunity to visit Ilo\u010dki Podrumi Winery and its wine cellars from the 15th and 18th centuries – a historical winery in Eastern Croatia; Vu\u010dedol Culture Museum \u2013 the most visited museum in Slavonia and the 7th most visited museum in Croatia, the Water Tower of Vukovar, the Memorial Park and the Eltz Manor Museum.<\/p>\n
This event also served as further advancement and improvement in recognition of the outcomes and ECTS credits earned through international credit mobility (ICM), as well as the prevention of risks and improvement of the safety of mobility participants.<\/p>\n
The activity ended successfully with the hope and wishes for future collaboration between participants. We had a good surprise immediately after the return of our dear professors – the European and Balkan Research Institute (UNYT) received the first invitation to sign an MoU with Herzegovina University.<\/p>\n
