UNYT Balkan Research Center hosted an academic seminar on the topic &#8220;EU enlargement and integration Process following the Russian war against Ukraine,&#8221; which was held by Ambassador Faruk Kaymakc\u0131. The ambassador of T\u00fcrkiye in Albania, H.E. Tayyar Ka\u011fan Atay, and many excellencies were present at the academic seminar.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"3oppl\" data-offset-key=\"bn5mn-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"bn5mn-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"bn5mn-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"3oppl\" data-offset-key=\"4514g-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"4514g-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4514g-0-0\">In his opening speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan Erdemir stated, &#8220;Personally speaking, I cannot think of any other person as equipped as himself to deliver this seminar due to his 28 years of experience as a career diplomat and as one of the most prominent officials that have been working for T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;s EU accession process. His presence here today is a great opportunity not only for international relations students of UNYT but also for our students that have an interest in global affairs.&#8221;<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"3oppl\" data-offset-key=\"fjsvn-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"fjsvn-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"fjsvn-0-0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"3oppl\" data-offset-key=\"95ugu-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"95ugu-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"95ugu-0-0\">In his speech, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) &amp; Director for EU Affairs of T\u00fcrkiye, Ambassador Faruk Kaymakc\u0131, stated, &#8220;In the Russian war against Ukraine, Turkiye stands on a strategic position, as it belongs to the West, Europe, and NATO. As a NATO member, T\u00fcrkiye stands in the role of being the common language among the two countries.
