The Launch of UNYT-ACM Student Chapter

It was a landmark moment for UNYT as we hosted the inaugural info session of Albania’s first-ever UNYT-ACM Student Chapter! The event saw an enthusiastic opening by our student Seminar Guri, the chair of the ACM Student Chapter at UNYT, followed by enriching talks from Prof. Dr Ali Güneş and Assoc. Prof. Narasimha Rao Vajjhala was pivotal in bringing this chapter to life.
Adding to the excitement, we were honored to have a live connection with Ruth Lennon, the Global Chair of ACM-W, who delivered a motivational and informative speech on the chapter’s benefits and the importance of participating in extracurricular activities. The event concluded with Dr. Marjana Prifti, the Scholarship Committee Chair of ACM-W, presenting opportunities for students to apply for scholarships.
