Discussing Turkish Literature with Guests

The panelists of the Open Panel “Re-Understanding The National Anthem’s Poet, Mehmet Akif Ersoy”, organized by UNYT Balkan Research Center, paid a visit to UNYT Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan Erdemir.
In the meeting present was the well-known poet from North Macedonia, Ms. Leyla Şerif Emin, the esteemed historian from Kosovo, Shasivar Kabashi, PhD., UNYT Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Ilir Kalemaj and the Director of UNYT Balkan Research Center Assoc. Prof. Lindita Xhanari Latifi. The main topic of discussion was Turkish literature in the Balkans, and Ms. Emin gifted “Kaybolmazsan Bu Şehir Hâlâ Senin- Rumeli’de Şehir ve Zaman”, her most recent book, to UNYT Rector Prof. Dr. Erdemir.
