On December 10th, UNYT students from the Law department, under the excellent guidance and supervision of lecturer Plarent Ruka, PhD., participated as a finalist at the 9th Edition of the Albanian Moot Court and the first for the district of Tirana. Our students qualified as finalists after being listed as the Second in the written submissions.
During the Final Mock Trial, the Team defended very well the position of State of Kostalia in front of a panel of well-known Albanian lawyers, such as Justice Vitore Tusha (Head of Constitutional Court), Justice Elsa Dobjani (Judge of the Constitutional Court), Ms. Erinda Ballanca (Ombudsperson of Albania), Mr. Dorian Matlija (Attorney at Law) and Dr. Nadia Rusi (Law Lecturer at the University of Tirana).
We are confident that this was a great experience for our students, who marked in their legal education this challenge as a significant path in their career and further established their team spirit.
