MUN Albania 2021 “Access to Health – A global fight for life and justice”

📍Following a pandemic-caused, two-year gap, MUN Albania 2021 “Access to Health”, commenced yesterday.
💥Marking the day’s highlight, the Opening Ceremony brought together friends and supporters of the MUN Initiative and UN Association Albania, precisely:
Ms. Fiona McCluney, UN Resident Coordinator;
Mr. Gazmend Turdiu, Director of the directory for the Security Council at MEFA;
Dr. Besmira Lahi,Chair of the Department of Psychology, University of New York Tirana;
Luca Tesei Li Bassi, Secretary-General;
Deborah Lika, Conference Manager;
🔸The opening ceremony brought forward talks on the importance of Model UN as a non-formal education platform and for exercising the values of the United Nations; on Albania’s priorities to the UNSC, the UN organ which is also being simulated in this edition; for how MUNs are a space where youth believe in their voice and meaningfully exercise it.
