Lucija Straley, Deputy Head of the Public Relations office at the U.S. Embassy Tirana will share with University of New York Tirana her personal experience.
Education – especially professional and technical education – is also likely to enhance women’s economic independence by equipping them with the skills necessary to take up paid employment opportunities. At the national level, educating women has resulted in improved productivity, improved income, and economic development, as well as in a better quality of life, leading to a notably healthier and better-nourished population.
