UNYT and SUNY Empire State – A partnership bringing American degrees to Tirana

SUNY Empire’s, European Academic Programs Director Sheila Aird, Director of International Education Francesca Cichello, visited the University of New York in Tirana on January 17th, 2019. University of New York Tirana is the only higher institution in Albania where the bachelor’s program language of instruction is in English and offers Albanian students the chance to earn dual degrees – one from the UNYT and one from SUNY. University of New York in Tirana and the State University of New York (SUNY), Empire State College have been united their efforts to provide their students with the best quality higher education in Tirana, Albania. UNYT’s partnership with SUNY Empire State College is unique in that it allows students to be in Europe and achieve an American bachelor’s degree.
