Study visit at Tirana District Court

The Forensic Psychology class students met with Tirana District Court Judge Vjosa Zaimi and forensic psychology expert Lorena Bajollari. Judge Zaimi, a family court judge for the past ten years, explained some challenges that judges face when adjudicating divorce and child custody. Ms. Bajollari, a licensed and specialized court expert, focused on forensic psychologists’ tools and techniques in court-mandated evaluations. Forensic Psychology professor Brunilda Haxhiu moderated the lively discussions, and the students received valuable information and asked many questions of their interest.
